In a category that has become transactional, we identified this community bank’s relevance in its unbroken commitment to the neighboring small businesses and communities it served.

The situation.

For 156 years, Dime faithfully served the businesses and immigrant community of Brooklyn. A century and a half later — with trust in banks at an all-time low and the category turned transactional — they’d become just another retail bank.

The solution.

We excavated their unbroken legacy as a local bank committed to its neighbors and to small-business ownership, and made it the framework for “a bank you can believe in” — from brand platform down to hyper-local campaigns that drove loans and deposits.
